Specialized Training Courses on Digital Transformation and Information Systems at MU

Specialized training courses titled "Digital Transformation and Information Systems in the Light of an Advanced Smart University" were held at the university. Prof. Dr. Essam Farhat, the university president, continues efforts in developing and enhancing the skills of employees in alignment with the state's vision for digital transformation.

As part of the University of Minia's endeavor to boost the skills and capacities of employees in the field of computer science, the Talent Development Department at the university, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Essam Farhat, the university president, and under the supervision of Dr. Basem Mahmoud, the university's general secretary, organized specialized training courses titled "Digital Transformation and Information Systems in the Light of an Advanced Smart University."

Prof. Dr. Essam Farhat emphasized that the university is persistently working towards developing and updating the skills of employees to keep pace with digital transformations, aiming to enhance administrative and academic work within the university in line with the state's vision for digital transformation. This effort also aims to improve the performance and capabilities of employees to cope with technological advancements across various fields.

Dr. Amir Maher, the Director of the Talent Development Department, stated that the university's training courses included four sessions on computer handling, Microsoft Word and Excel programs, letter and official document writing and formatting, spreadsheet design, and computer maintenance.

He added that the goal of these courses is to increase awareness among employees and develop their core skills in using various computer programs, updating work files efficiently and quickly, creating preparatory lists, utilizing basic equations for accounting transactions to expedite work completion. Participants were also trained on hardware maintenance, troubleshooting minor faults, and identifying common errors in dealing with computer devices.

Engineer Galal Darwish Mostafa was present at the training courses, which targeted technicians, specialists, secretaries, computer science professionals, and quality assurance officers from the university's faculties.
